... was drawing to a close....

Well, it's the school term that's drawing to the end, and I am about to feel slightly melancholic about this fact. Why is it always in the last weeks that I gain all my inspiration and motivation once again?

In fact, I'm way too inspired at the moment. I stay up at night painting or drawing , just because I have to get all these ideas out of my head, or I find myself reading too many books and wanting to do too many things at the same time. It is a good feeling, though, and a kind kind of stress.

I really do feel like a zombie of late. One week of winter break is already gone and I have achieved none of my goals: getting sleep, relaxing, meeting people, drawing and painting. I am a quitter. And a sore loser.

The last months were fun, but exhausting. I just realized I haven't even made a post about my new tablet? well my father got me one for my 18th bday, a really nice and ... moderate-sized wacom intuos. hooray. I love and worship it, even though it really does minimize the working space on my desk D:

Arts Class, too, have been fun, but were a bit boring and... undemanding of late. I definitely lack a challenge. D: But well, I guess better than work overload. Plus, adorable coffee, and nice people, mostly.

Well. It's time for it, I think xD I've been drawing more lately, both at the pc and "real life", and I've decided to get a tablet. If I want to continue doing arts a bit more serious, at the pc at least, a tablet would get really handy. using a mouse does kill me and won't help me enhance my abilities, because  using a mouse, apparently, is very different from the feel a brush gives you xD

So.The point is, I'm not really sure about what kind of tablet to get. There's the obvious choice, a Wacom, but it's pretty expensive, so I would like to know which tablets you guys use. if I'll end up with a wacom, be it, but I want to get some information first. xD
